  • Help with WRB and sidewall flashing

Hi, I've learned a lot from JLC, thanks to all the contributors.

We're replacing our roof with a standing seam metal roof and replacing the hardie lap siding with stucco.

I'm installing the WRB, 1 layer of tyvek house wrap followed by another layer of tyvek stucco wrap.

The roofer has installed the flashing as shown in images. I used flashing tape to seal the metal roof flashing to sheathing. I'm installing the tyvek house wrap and used seam tape at bottom to seal it to the flashing tape.

I think I'm doing it wrong. I recently learned of stucco weep screed, which is not currently installed.

Should the tyvek house wrap and tyvek stucco wrap overlap the stucco screed? And if so, should I tape the bottom to the weep screed?

good you are using two layers of WRB but better to use a dedicated drain material
