  • Estimate structural steel

    For the kind of steel typically seen in a residential build, what is a safe cost per pound to use at bid time. Simple wide-flange parts, punched and drilled here and there, little to no welding such as for web stiffeners, etc. Maybe a 3.5" square tubing part for under a bearing.

      What Happy said, or simply call your supplier and ask for a cost, we do it all the time.

      Our last beam was a small one, W6X20X14', i was $750.00.
