JLC is kind of like a private club for people involved in the construction trades.That said, please take a minute to read the rest of this post before you sign up.

1.) You MUST be involved in the construction profession to post in this forum category.
2.) All new users MUST fill out ALL of the profile questions. Existing users take a hint and fill yours out too.
3.) If you plan on intelligent, polite interaction, why not use your real name? If you don't plan on intelligent, polite interaction, please don't sign up.
4.) In your first post, please take a minute to introduce yourself and tell us what you do.
5.) If you fail to fill out your profile, your posts will be deleted. I'll save them for a while to give you a chance to fill out your profile.

My question is...... the sign up information allows you to indicate that you are a homeowner. The new member sticky says you have to be a member of the construction trades. Does that mean a homeowner can read but not post at a forum?

Look at the top of the screen, right side. Above MY TOOLBOX is "Welcome, Preventec" (your screen name). Hover the cursor over your name and you'll see one of the choices is "Your profile". Click on it and edit it.

And welcome to the forum.

I would be happy to fill out the Profile Info but darn if I can find where the option is to do so ! ! ? ? If you are going to delete my posts please go back and provide clearer instructions about the profile info requirement.
