  • Delta Saw Buck for sale

I have no need and no room for my Delta saw buck....so it's going on the block.

Rails have some rust but the saw still slides. Just needs some TLC and some lube. It needs a cord to the onboard junction box and might need some brushes. Last time I used it was to side my house about 2 yrs ago.

If you want it, just give me a reasonable offer.....or even an unreasonable offer. I'd even take a trade. I'm in Essex, MA so more local is obviously better.... But I don't mind driving to meet someone half way.

    Thanks

Yep, how about it. Funny how songs evoke memories for some people, but for carpenters tools do the same thing.

I remember how unbelievably stoked I was the first time I used a Sawbuck. Prior to that all crosscuts were made with either an 8" Delta chopsaw or a skilsaw, or even a handsaw.

What you wrote is spot on. I was using a 9" Rockwell chop saw to do some rosewood/oak parquet floors. I bought my sawbuck and then we could cut the pieces with one pass. Awesome!

I thought radial arms had been around for a while...;)

Thankfully I've rarely been on a job with a radial arm saw. There's a $100 payoff on some of the Craftsman models now, if you send in the motor. They're trying to take them out of service.

A craftsman one nearly took me out 30 years ago but only succeeded in taking my thumb

                        more tools please.

Any idea which ones. I have one that I have been thinking about selling. I just googled it. They actually want the saw carriage and they provide $100 for its return. They also have a guard for newer models.
