Default Rol-Air, Made in USA, or not?

I am looking to pick up two compressors for framing. One electric and one gas.

I always wanted Rol-Air compressors, and was ready to buy when I read mixed information regarding where they are made. I thought they we 100% USA? Now I read some are from China?

If not a Rol-Air, what brand can I go with that is USA made?
I will never buy a Nissan Cargo Van.

Wasn't there an Emglo thread like this a while back? But good luck man, the Jennys will have a lot of Hecho en Mexico parts on a "USA made" compressor.

The way the global supply chain works if there are more than a couple of parts to a product you are very unlikely to get 100% American made anything any more. Anyone can go online and get quotes from jobbers all over the world on parts and fittings http://discover.mfg.com/

I bought a rolair last year, had pump issues finally got the to replace the compressor. Works good now but I really don't have a use for it I am going to sell it for 600.00.

You might want to check out this link from the RolAir website: http://rolair.com/products/CountryOfOrigin.pdf
