Default best way to prevent pavers from shifting

I do understand that pavers, when installed correctly, will not move or sink overtime. Can anyone give me some tips on how to install a quality paver patio that will not be prone to moving, sinking and other problems?

It depends on the prep work you do to the ground under the pavers.

It depends on the climate zone you are in.

There are plenty of good books and videos on the subject if you Google it. I did this for you. I simply googled "patio pavers for the do it yourselfer" All of this advice may not be good so be careful.
