Default 10x14 Free standing shed, 16" O/C studs overkill ?

    Hi all!
Being from a general construction back round and semi-retired from floor covering,(hardwood, ceramic etc. my back and knees don't like crawling anymore.) i'm doing some general repair/remodel work out here in the high desert of So Cal. some of my customers have asked if i could build sheds, so i'm building one for my son to get the feel of it. it will be 10'x14' have a 2x8 supported ridge beam spanning 10'. 2x6 rafters,24" O/C. 3.5/12 pitch. walls are 76 1/2" High including the double top plate. my initial plans are for 16" O/C studs, however i have seen several sheds around here with 24" O/C framing, so i was wondering if my 16" O/C was overkill? as I said, I have the skill and decent knowledge, but I'm not a framer or engineer, so any opinion would be appreciated!
    Thanks for your time!

Thanks, i've done interior divider type walls 24 o/c before but wasn't sure if that was enough support for the roof.
