Tangent Handrailing
Please check out these pictures I took of a great example of Tangent Handrailing. The attention to details and craftmanship is incredible. I was lucky enough to attend a class Jim Baldwin had in Seattle a while back, since than I'm obsesed with learning more.
I'm trying to talk Jim into another class on the East Coast(Philly), and hope to find a few more people interested in spending a few days learning from a master craftsman. This time I will throw in my 3D modeling technics, so it will have a visual aspect also.
I hope you enjoy the pictures , take note of the bullnose, just a really neat design

Re: Tangent Handrailing
Thanks for all the positive responses, we have over 10 people who are interested and we are starting to make plans now. It has been talked about having it in September and Thurs - Saturday.
We have bunch of new ideas , that I'm excited to try. I'm thinking of making up a stair mock up that we can make a a wreath fitting for, helping to visualize the layout.
I'm very open to hear from anyone with any ideas on what they would like to see in a class.
Thanks, Hey Billy I hope all in well up the Vineyard

Re: Tangent Handrailing
I'd be interested depending on the time frame. I like the idea of having a stair mockup. I know we briefly went over from stair plan to handrail last time, but I'd like to see more of that (for different types of stairs, pitches, and so on).
