    Default Insulating brick clad walls

What is the best way to insulate an empty brick wall w/ plaster and lath?
I've been getting conflicting answers as to foam or dense pack cellulose.
It's to a point where I'm not sure what to recommend anymore.
    Thanks

What are all the layers in this wall? Age of building? Climate?

Assuming a cold climate and a double wythe, ccspf or a hybrid system seems to work best.

It's certainly a "taker's" society anymore Mark, get used to it. It seems like anyone under the age of 35 these days thinks the world owes them something, or, information is for the free taking.

Take a look at most of the recent posts, all new members looking for free stuff to take and never appear again.

I'm spending much less time on this site these days.

I agree;it's rude to query and run. Still, the threads are read by many, many more people than the participants and the information is valid for the active and lurkers alike. If education is the goal, then asking a good question is as helpful as the excellent answers most of you provide.

Meant to get back to your reply on this one but time slipped away.

I do agree with you on this. Good questions do bring up good conversations and helps those of answering to put our thought into words. The side benefit of these conversations and questions is that it makes us more ready and sharper when we get together with a client or potential client in our area.

I was just hoping to bait the OP back into the conversation that's all.
