Feedback on Eagle (Andersen?) windows
Anyone using Eagle windows?
I'm doing a remodel that includes replacing all the windows in a 1800sf 1930's stucco. They are currently all original french casements.
My client is doing all the legwork on windows, and has only found suitable windows from Marvin and Eagle. I've never used Eagle, looks like Anderson bought them a few years back from the brief Googling I just did.
Thanks,
Kye

Kye
I had Eagle windows and LP inerseal on the first home I built for myself in the 80's
both sucked really bad
Now I would be herd pressed to use anything but LP SmartSide and Eagle windows. I really think a lot of their current productMark Parlee

Kye- where ya working?
I'm in the area for about another week, I'd buy you a cuppa coffee.
But I've got no opinion on the windows...http://www.lavrans.com

Have not used them myself but heard good feedback in my area.

Hey, been a long time... I hope all is well with you.
I've got two remodels going in San Anselmo, and then bouncing back and forth to my workshop in San Rafael.
Hooking up for a coffee or beer sounds good. PM me, and I'll reply with contact info.

We use them occasionally. Close equivalent to Marvin's clad units. Andersen has owned them for several years but just fessed up to that fact more recently.

Re: Feedback on Eagle (Andersen?) windows
We used them on this house we built in 2008. They were reasonably nice looking and have held up well. The house is performing quite well energy-wise so they must be sealing pretty well.

Yeah, it's grown on me too. The neighbors weren't too thrilled when it went up. Client loves it - great house to live in too.

Re: Feedback on Eagle (Andersen?) windows
We have used Eagle on a few projects. Overall I'd say they're pretty good. As with other Andersen products, if they're assembled of multiple units you are kind of the quality control/final assembly on the flanges.
We used them on this renovation and a few other projects.Doug
