Will LP SmartSide shrink after installing the way fiber-cement will?

We always wait as long as possible to caulk fiber cement siding once it is installed because it most always shrinks due to the high moisture content of the material, and that leads to the caulk expanding too much and cracking. Once on the wall it dries out quickly in the summertime. Does the osb based LP SmartSide siding behave this way too or is it fine to caulk it as soon as installing. I would appreciate hearing all opinions. Thank You

LP SmartSide comes from the factory very dry, about 4% MC. Follow the recommended spacing (about 3/16") between boards and trim and you will be fine. This product will expand after installation. DO NOT fill the gap with too much caulk. After expansion the gaps / seams will close.
