Somethings growing in my P trap
I sold a spec home to a single guy last spring/summer. Last fall he calls to say the water coming out of his faucet in the master bath smells. Long story short, the water and faucet are fine, but when we pulled the p-trap off we found something growing in it. The picture doesn't do it justice ...... with water in the trap it looked like stringy, "tentacally" ..... things attached to sides. This wasn't your typical sludge you would expect to see. This looked like something had attached itself to the sides of the trap and was living happily.
We replaced the trap, but the plumber and I looked at each other and then the homeowner .... and didn't know what to tell him. Any ideas what it is?

Ask the home owner if they had a chia pet. I had a home owner once where the seeds fell down the sink and were actually growing out the drain and had the same smell problem.

Hope you washed your hands before you ate your pnut butter sandwich. That stuff could grow in your guts and give you bad breath.

Looks like you were witnessing the birth of a new Democrat Presidential candidate.
It is a simple matter of being patient. I do patience very well, except for the waiting part. That's the one aspect of patience that still bites me.

Looks like something from an episode of the Scifi show FRINGE. Where's Walter Bishop when you need him ?
