    Stan,
    I'm always so glad when you post pictures of your jobs! I'm sorry it took me so long to notice this one. Just working too hard in all four directions. Your work is truly inspiring. And, even more, so is your humility and honesty. Some day when I'm in your area and we can plan ahead, I'd love to visit with you.

    Gary and others....Thanks for the kind comments. I couldnt live with myself if I was trying to convey my work as better than it is. I do nice work, not exceptional...and I can live with that.

    I used to make Kentucky longrifles from scratch......Now those require much more finesse in comparison to building a stairway.

    Gary- I am going to start another little thread showing a Kentucky longrifle I made....and how it compares to a curved stairway. The rifle takes many more hours.
