Re: Tell us about your experience with Hafele Frontina sliding cab door hardware
I haven't used it but on a few jobs now we've used Hafele's Clipo sliding door system. Works great. My biggest problem with Hafele is that their web navigation sucks. For example, if they have any information on Frontino other than a media blurb and the video you show, I can't find it. From the video it looks like a clever system, like a van door.

What language is on that youtube video?
Looks a touch like it's froggy-talk.
However, not speaking frog, I really do not know. Just a stimple guess.

If their only information is on Youtube I'm not really interested in it. I need photos and a cut sheet or there's not much I can do with it.

Do as I just did, call Hafele USA, and ask them to send you all the specs, cut sheets, parts lists, and installation instructions.
I had to call them. I have an online account and have ordered many things from them, but their catalog just could not tell me what I needed to know about Frontino.

But that's so... old school. I've been thinking about possible applications for this product all afternoon, so I might just have to do that.

Re: Tell us about your experience with Hafele Frontina sliding cab door hardware
That drives me nuts. I understand them not including info like that in their catalog - my Big Book is BIG already. But why can't that be easily accessible via their on-line catalog?
I've had other instances like this with multiple-component orders through Hafele - the HAWA system - off the top of my head. And they may have a link somewhere on their site, but this is the type of info (necessary info, that I usually need quickly) that eludes me consistently.
EDIT - though this looks like it's from the new catalog... So my error here.
Still hate their web-site functionality.

That does help Mark. Now if they would provide detailed drawings in CAD format I'd really be happy!
