    Default The New World of Bosch

    Came across videos of some Bosch tools I thought were interesting. Bosch is thinking outside the box and it shows in the following Videos:

    Table saw looks cool, chain saw looks like a craftsman one my dad has.Do I have to wear a sweater if I use the jig saw guide?

    I like the table saw, don't care for the other two tools.
    The video shows something unsafe that we all should avoid to minimize possible injures on the table saw.
    The blade is sticking out way too high over the thickness of the material being cut.
    The blade should not show above the material being cut by more than 1/8".
    I almost lost a finger years ago for not following this practice.
    If I had to I would had only needed a band aid to take care of the cut however I almost lost the tip of one finger and ended up $2000 poorer due to medical expenses.

    The videos are for the European market......Manufactures aren't worried about lawsuits for accidents like the USA market which is one reason we might never see these tools.

    The jigsaw stand is certainly targeted to Homeowners but I'm interested in the Chainsaw after owning the Makita version. Electric units are really a great option....with no emission and low noise using indoors is a real plus.

    We dont have to worry in the Uk about cutting fingers off. All the medical expenses are free
