Amazon is offering a free $25 gift certificate with the purchase of $100 of select tools, including Bosch and Makita brands.

Here in MA our Governor wants to charge Tax on Amazon.
I obviously like to save a buck, but when you think of it, sticks a bricks local shop have to charge it so its fair online retailers should.Wanted: Twinkies, Ho Ho's and Ding Dongs.

Amazon will start charging a sales tax in other states, including New Jersey and Virginia, next year.

Re: Black Friday sales?
I have always paid state sales tax on out of state/internet purchases. Indiana state tax forms asks if you purchased anything out of state that would have been taxed in state. Seeing as I deduct my tool purchases, never thought it was a good idea to commit fraud by answering "no".
I bought my truck out of state, had to pay the taxes when I plated it.

Re: Black Friday sales?
In my state of MN even if Internet sales don't charge sales tax I am responsible for paying tax to the state if it is a business purchase.
there is ALWAYS a better way waiting to be discovered-

Re: Black Friday sales?
In MN you are responsible to pay the sales tax on personal items also. They just have no way of forcing you to show them what things you may have bought on the internet. However if you are writing off for a business they can audit you, ask for your records and make you pay the tax. I just got audited for back thru 09, had to pay in some tax and interest but they waved the penalty. I wish they would just have you pay the tax on purchase, I now have to record purchases that are not charging tax and pay it in separately now. I mainly buy on Amazon for convenience, I don't need to save the sales tax. Now I have to file more tax forms to buy out of state, what a hassle.
