Funny how things are so regional. I am unfamiliar with Windsor 1 brand and the other trims you mention.
I would stay away from the FC, I have used it and can get good results but it is easy to fracture. materials should not be so temperamental and fragile.
I do use the PVC with success, I agree it is high in price. It does have its idiosyncrasies and is temperature sensitive in some of its installation detailing. PVC does have quite the expansion and contraction coefficient to deal with and when you consider installing it at below zero temperatures in the winter and it taking close to 100 degree temps in the summer it is amazing we can get any good results when using it as trim, nevertheless we use it and it works.

I really like what we are getting with the LP OSB trim, think I said that before but it bears repeating.
