Recommend a panel material for wide boxed soffits painted white

Used a roughsawn cedar plywood for apps like this, but want to know if there are some other things I might consider.

MDO? Groove-less SYP T-111? Want 3/8" thick. Soffit width about 3'6".

LP Smart panel, they make a 3/8” soffit panel. If your near the Chicago area I have 10-4x10 sheets to sell you;-) I makes great garage liner also.

I love MDO, but all I have used has been smooth faced.

Cellular PVC sheet goods. Lengths up to 18' x 4' wide. Paints well. 3/8", 1/2", 3/4", 5/4"

I routed in all of the outlet openings. The recut on the window was not correcting a mistake, it was showing the rail can be set vertically.
