Re: cherry hill's u-sand sander for rloors
I have only used it on oak and walnut. Be prepared to go through ALOT of sanding disks. The machine is good, although it could use another orbital dead center. The machine itself should be relatively gentle on the pine floor. I recently used the varathane machine available through Lowes. It has 3 orbitals mounted in a buffer type head that floats and rotates freely. I found it easier to control than the U-Sand unit and it's cheaper, at $35.00/day. Good luck.
PhilIt's better to try and fail, than fail to try.
