Re: Tools wanted, to replace what I lost in the fire
No, they don't have them, even though they continue to offer them. I tried them last year.
I also tried Tool Zone, based on Justin's recommendation above. I placed the order last week, and as is typical, they called me today and told me they were discontinued, and they would refund my money.Last edited by hdrider_chgo; 10-24-2012 at 08:20 PM.

So, you do mostly finish/cabinet work, is that right? You don't need a large Metabo grinder, do you?

I just called Woodcraft in San Carlos. The gentleman there seemed helpful, but insists that they do not have them, and can't order them.

I think they are a little slow
I saw them the other day, two of them. I'll be there this weekend, on either Saturday or Sunday. I'll look.

Re: Tools wanted, to replace what I lost in the fire
FYI,
I tried to add some to my collection 2 years ago without success. I ran into the same issue with vendors listing them but then cancelling the order. Most are still listing them which is really irritating.
I tried the Plumbers surplus link when I saw it here last year. Same story. Are these sellers all incompetent or just lazy? You would think when they find out they actually don't have the product and can't get it, they would remove the listing or at least show they are unavailable.
