pencil sharpener
I thought it was sort of a gimmicky joke when I realized my new Bostich brad gun actually has a pencil sharpener in the ladder/belt hook. That is until I used it! Puts a great tip on...
Definitely nicer than my Fastcap sharpener on the Accuscribe.

Neat idea plus now there is really no reason to keep the accuscribe.
there is ALWAYS a better way waiting to be discovered-

I switched to using mechanical pencils to solve my sharpening problem. I use a cheap .7mm for fine work and a Staedtler 771 1.3mm for rougher materials. For scribes I tape the wood and use a ball-point pen because it will leave a nice even line across the entire length. A dark ink is also easier to see on white or even blue tape.
