Time Card Aps?
Hey guys,
I am trying to more modernize the business side of my business... As I looked around the jobsite, I realized that all of my workers have iPhones. This got me to wondering why we still fill out timesheets. Have you had any experience/ luck with any of the time keeping aps that they offer? Any input would be great.

Have you looked at this one?

Re: Time Card Aps?
I use an app called ipunchclock to track my time, you can type in job names and type specific tasks for each job. It keeps track of total time for an entire job, total time for specific tasks and a list of "shifts" as in when a specific task was clocked into and out of, so you can switch between tasks or jobs as many times as needed and can even have the clock running on two jobs or tasks at one time, if you needed to. All gathered info can be exported to email, google docs, or to a printer with wireless capabilities, and then archived on the iphone which zeros out the time for the job selected. I dont have any employees, so I cant say how that might translate to someone who does. Hope this was helpful.

Hi Cfullen!
I use Timecard Pro to calculate hours & work schedule Tracking of my employees. Its new version 1.5.2 is very nice and visually appealing. The new update now allows for clock in & clock out reminders. I use it for every worker of my company!

Some of these time clock apps also let you know the location of the employee when clocking in, at a WaWa getting coffee or really "on the job"

Re: Time Card Aps?
After trying a few, I settled on one called Timesheet time tracker, http://timesheet.rauscha.com/.
I use it on an android phone, not sure if it's available on itunes. Check for ease of exporting to excel or something like that, because I tried a couple that worked fine up until I wanted to export the timesheet- then I spent half an hour fixing formatting issues on my computer to make it usable.

Re: Time Card Aps?
I use the ExakTime products. They're not an iPhone app; the advantage is that they require an employee to be there, on the job site, to check in and out. If you set up some simple rules (no one ever times in anyone else) you'll see money saved from day one. They're expensive, but in my experience, worth it.
