Have looked at deck software but none will give me a 125lb psf config....have 6k lb 7x7 hot tub i need to safely support....
i will over build it but don't want to go crazy

Your probably not going to get and definitive information here, but without more information you want get any.
Like where are you, distance above grade,size of deck, etc.

Software or not, when you submit the plans for permit review they need to be stamped by an engineer. Your engineer will know exactly how to design the deck to that load.

If you don’t know how to design this deck without the use of some computer program, would you know how to input the correct data to the program? There are several tricky parts to this kind of deck design. This kind of deck does not fit into the prescriptive IRC. You should probably enlist the help of a local Structural Engineer, even if the AHJ doesn’t require an engineered design. There is no need to go crazy or to over build the deck, but you should do it right, because this is not a run-of-the-mill problem.
