Default anyone using the CAMO hidden fastener system?

Been eyeing it up for awhile , and since I dont usually build decks , not sure how well it would work with cedar 2 x 6 and PT 5/4" x 6 decking compared to man made plastic decking.. Anyone using it for these decking products?

Dale as not a direct answer to your question I do not think the camo screws will work with 2x stock. it should work fine with the 5/4 pt. I personally just don't care for the hole left in the edge of the board seems like a spot for water to sit and promote rot.

I just finished my deck (400 sq.ft.)using that system and I am very happy with it. I used 5/4 cedar boards with 1 7/8 " screws. They have longer screws for thicker material.

The holes left by the screws are negligible in size, and the ability to remove individual boards, IMO, is definitely worth a few small holes.

wondering if it adds a lot of time to do the job with the system? Seems kind of slow to use or so I thought when I saw it demoed.

I'd worry about PT boards cupping with the screws so close to the edge.
