NuHeat/Leveler/WetBed Question
So, I'm doing a tricky install that has me a little stumped. It's a bathroom where the main floor is flush with the shower floor (no curb). I'm planning on doing a wet bed for the whole area. But a NuHeat mat is also spec'd for the main floor area, which would raise the height above the shower. Can I install the mat inside the wetbed, or do I have to put it on top?

Re: NuHeat/Leveler/WetBed Question
Did you try looking in the NuHeat installation manual?

Re: NuHeat/Leveler/WetBed Question
dhunter is correct: the only source for the answer to your question is the heat mat manufacturer. Anyone with experience with the proposed mat could tell you, butI am curious as to why you would not refer to the manufacturers printed or on-line construction. With so many different systems available, don't make the mistake that all systems have the same properties, the same performance, or the same installation method. You need to have manufacturers instructions before you start this installation.

Thank you for your replies. It is wise to follow the instructions! This method is not specified, so I won't use it.

Re: NuHeat/Leveler/WetBed Question
I believe that nuheat has a great 1 800 line. I've installed several products but I seem to remember their 800 number was good 7 days a week.
Just because something isn't mentioned in instructions doesn't mean you can't do it. It's another thing if it says you can't do something.
I use 800 numbers all the time and in most cases they are very helpful which is why they give out a 800 number in the first place.
