Stamford CT fire and contractor's insurance
http://www.dnainfo.com/new-york/2012...na-badger-fire
Few details at the moment that I've seen, but it appears the contractor's insurance company in this case is refusing to pay claims, alleging that the contractor mis-represented the scope of his business. It will be interesting to see how this plays out.
Whatever ya' do, give your insurance company accurate numbers when you buy your policy, and when it's audited.

Always good to see my Insurance Co behaving like a...well, insurance company. I think I'll re-read my Utica Policy and see how they are going to screw me.

I'm confused.
If he took the ashes out as her boyfriend, why would his contractors insurance company be involved?
Is he being sued because the smoke detectors were not reinstalled?

Re: Stamford CT fire and contractor's insurance
An insurance company collects premiums and then refuses to pay claims and this qualifies as news?
"I want no heaven for which I must give my reason; no happiness in exchange for my liberty, and no immortality that demands the surrender of my individuality. Better rot in the windowless tomb, to which there is no door but the red mouth of the pallid worm, than wear the jeweled collar of a god."
