Just finished reading the story in the April issue about the SMD 50 magazine paired with either of two cordless screwgun models. Interesting. I still have, and occasionally use, the SMD 57 that I bought with the SD 4500 (corded) screwgun several years ago.

Any of you aware of (design variations) between the SMD 50 - and the older SMD 57?

A few threads regarding the initial offering by Hilti back in the day - concensus seemed to be that the SMD performed okay in the field, but struggled in corners. This recent testimonial appears to indicate those problems are no longer the case - and cordless too.
