Val-spar Paint vs Behr War
Behr Paint is garbarge. It is like water compared to Valspar paint. I am not a Behr fan as you can see. I love the thickness of the Valspar Ultra Premium Paint. I stand behind the product and would paint my own house in valspar anytime. All exterior paint jobs I always use valspar. But i am curious to know why the Flat paint seems like it is more thicker than satin. Its like satin is a more durable finish but flat is thicker. Well anyways share how you feel of the two lets see who wins the battle

Re: Val-spar Paint vs Behr War
Welcome Mike.
I never will use Behr, too much junk in the paint. Valspar is really good paint IMO, and the lower level of Lowes paint - Fast Hide - is pretty good for commerical spray applications. The Valspar primer is really good too. We love the 39- 5 gallon primer we buy from Lowes!

Re: Val-spar Paint vs Behr War
behr and valspar i do not use anymore, in my oponion. 2 coats most of the time and valspar runs even on the flat. even if a customer has that paint and wants me to paint with it i will pass. as we all know we get blamed for crappy paint jobs.
i have given them a chance over and over again....and now I only use sherwin williams super paint one coat coverage (except darker colors) one coat saves time in labor and even though it is 32-40 bucks a gallon it is well worth it. they have a better quaility formula.Kreg
