    Default USG No-Coat bead knockoff

    Anyone tried the USG paper faced plastic x-bead? Looks to be a No-Coat clone: tapered plastic (no nose screed), similar size, latex paper face... except the wall side is raw plastic without any paper on it, and relies on the paper flange alone to lock it down.

    Without an intermediary thirsty surface to give it some adhesion to the wall, I'm not sure that the plastic is going to be rigid enough not to dance around and be a blister.

    Have they screwed they pooch or does it work?
