You can see a better breakdown of what's included with a Minneapolis blower door on the Energy Conservatory site (they're the manufacturer). http://energyconservatory.com/products/products1.htm Very likely he is selling the typical 120-volt Model 3 set-up, that's what almost everyone gets. I believe they also make a 240-volt version and possibly another that's sold in Europe, but they're not shown on the price list. You can get a new one from them for around $2700 including shipping.

There is a 5% discount from the Energy Conservatory if you have taken the RESNET Rater Training course. I don't think you need to be a Rater, just need to have taken the course. Ask the lady there who answers the phone when you call in.

except my gauge has a serial cable port with a usb/serial connector included

I didn't realize that it has come down that much in price.
in canada that unit was more than 3500 a year ago at a local supplier here when taxes and shipping was included.
