I have finally meet the Jig Dude !!!

Well I was at the IWF show in Atlanta ( large wood, cabinets, furniture makers, the big boys show) and I was at the KREG tool booth and looked over at this guy and it turned out he was the owner of the KREG tool Company, Yes he is the original Jig Dude !!!

funny though his name is ..... craig sommerfeld ! he and marc are brothers. he got the name for KREG, since craig did not sound right.. from his wife who is KRIS and she thought to spell it KREG..... and the rest is history....

So it was a pleasure to meet him today, finally.

for you newbees... when I first signed up on this forum 5+ years ago somebody asked if I was the jig dude... so my signiture at that time was Kreg.... not the jig dude.

great show by the way huge over 750 vendors....

Was that your first IWF show. it was the smallest sg ft show I have been to here .
but Ok .jlc shows have nt been here in years, always calif. or new.engl.??to far for my truck.

Yep that was my first iwf. But for me I got alot of new ideas. Saw some new tools and spent $1500 on some new tools and none were festools!

The Jlc is only now in providence next march

I bought the woodpecker router table set up with a philonic top and quick lift. Pc 7518 3 1/4 hp router for the lift. New Bosch 10.4 impactor And the sommerfeld 35 mm hindge boring jig and bunch misc small stuff
