Default Stucco contractor in Portland, OR?

I have a small addition to a 1924 Stucco-sided bungalow coming up and am trying to find a good stucco guy. I'm personally terrified of the stuff -- matching existing, waterproofing, etc and would really like to have an expert on it. Any of you Portland guys know anyone?

    TIA,
    Jeff

Euro-Plaster & Stucco. I don't have their # on me but I've worked with them & like their work.

I almost just PM'd you regarding this, Lavrans, but didn't want to be too forward.
Thanks, buddy. I'll give 'em a call.

And if any other Portland guys have anyone to recommend, I'm listening.

Jeff- don't worry about being too forward. We should get together sometime anyway- just 'cause we interact here doesn't mean we can't interact in the real world, even outside of JLC events.

I've met up with Tim Uhler up in Washington, and did a field trip to Steve Unkie's deck project. Met SBE Builders, Olllee, 8inchnails and Ken Lyons through hosting the eyebrow dormer class. Met up with Sawdustr in Seattle (and keep trying to get together again- he's always getting really interesting projects that are fun to go look at). No reason not to network thru this place :-)

    Hey Lavrans --

Thanks for the stucco recommendation. I met with James this morning and he was great. Realistic expectations and a very pleasant guy to be around. I ran into a home inspector I know yesterday and I asked him about this and he recommended Euro as well.

I wish I could have come and met you all at the eyebrow dormer class. It would have been super fun, I'm sure, but that stuff is a little above my head. I still find it challenging enough to do a shed dormer. But maybe once I get this Ladd's job going we could meet up.

    Thanks again, buddy!

No problem- is this the Ladds job you were dealing with a long time ago, up near Castagna?

Excellent memory! Oh and, no. I didn't get that one, thank God.
