Pls 3 laser holder
Hello,
I got a PLS 3 and the holder got bent, and now my laser cannot butt up against a metal track without it being crooked. Is there a place I can only buy the holder?

OK, I am going to pull your chain a little here so don't be offended.
Is there some reason you can't just straighten the one you have now???
Nothing wrong with buying a new one if you like your tools to look all perfect, but straightening the old one couldn't be that hard unless you completely folded it into a pretzel.

Re: Pls 3 laser holder
Dean,
I tried but it doesn't bend back. I don't know if one of my guys ran it over with a lift or something, but we tried to bend it back and it won't budge.

When you wrote "cannot butt up against a metal track without it being crooked" I also assumed you were talking about the magnetic L bracket. I can't find a parts page on the PLS web site, how about this....

Re: Pls 3 laser holder
Bosch also has a pretty nice stand that comes with their laser, or can be ordered separate. I like it because it has a height positioning gear, little feet that fold out, and magnets on the back like the PLS stand.

Re: Pls 3 laser holder
That Bosch mount looks pretty cool. There are also many small camera stands and mounts that can be used with compact laser tools. I have a small flexible mini tripod like the Gorillapod that fits right in the original case with my PLS 180 and it is very handy in some situations.
