New Diablo Hand Held Mixer
New on the block......
Looks like the 7 amp will do for most jobs. $249 at Amazon at the moment.
Anybody using one yet ?

Re: New Diablo Hand Held Mixer
I blew the budget for the larger model after the review in JLC.
What a great tool. It can handle anything. The only thing that takes some getting used to is the soft start feature. When you let off the trigger and then apply it again there is a few second delay. But it can mix mud. I was using it for surface bonding cement with which is basically a stucco with fibers for strength and we were mixing 2 bags at once in a pail. Only down side is holding the pail still as it wants to rotate.
Have fun if you get one.
Cannot wait to try it with an 80 # bag of concrete to see how it handles that.Last edited by clydewater; 06-17-2009 at 04:38 PM. Reason: to fix typos
