Default What tools did you come home with?

I ended up getting the Stabila 400 laser tape, a couple of books and more knowledge.

What did you guys get? Evan, I'm only talking about tools now...

There was a good fish market down the street, where the lobster, crabs, and flounder were all on sale. Must have smelled funny bringing it home in his backpack, though..

I wandered over to where there was some Stabilia stuff and the tajima sawblades to see the unit Greg Di suggested and asked about the $100 Stabila measuring tools, but the guy said they didn't have them, so I went to the Bosch booth and bought the $100 Bosch unit. Then later I saw the Stabilia's in their booth! If the only diff is inches showing versus feet, I don't care!

Heck, I didn't even need the Bosch one, but it is imperative to keep the tool economy going by buying something!

    Oh, well!

Picked up miter clamps and pliers, tread tool, coping foot and Katz videos from Collins, picked up some levels and a 400 tape from Stabila as well. All in all I spent about $600.00 on tools, books and videos.

james bummer, the stabilia is so much better than the bosch.. when I do trim I work off of inches instead of feet and inches.... so enjoy. they both work good.

I did not get any tools this year. I came with fasteddie and had a good talk with a couple of vendors that I thought had products I wanted to pursue. I also got all sweaty and tingly when I saw the SawStop jobsite foldable saw. It's a little large, but really sweet. I think I made this young kid a little queasy though. He didn't understand what a riving knife was or what it prevented. So .... I whipped out the pics of my hand injury just after it happened (at the docs) and showed him. The look on his face was priceless! and I think he learned a lesson the easy way.
Missed Kreg and his bandana though. Too bad, maybe next year.

Double Bummer! I could not attend JLC Live AND I've been wanting the Stabila laser distance measurer ever since I saw it at a the Katz roadshow last month. I heard it was at a great price.
