Default The best saw horse. EVER. Walko

This is, IMHO, the best sawhorse ever. EVER.

    ..and it's only $899.

They just started importing them here this fall.

The retail in the states is $899, in both locations I've found it.

I haven't actually played with one yet, but I'm dyin' to try it.

There is a rumour that Woodcraft is going to start carrying them, but I haven't heard that confirmed yet.

The designers have definately been thinking outside the box on this one. Looks pretty slick. My initial concern is that I will overlook many of the different options that this thing is able to perform. Something like how I under use the capabilities of my computer. Depending on the carpenter, it could be well worth the money and then some.

I did see an ad on TV for a Rockwell Jawhorse. It has three legs and looks like it could come in handy. I believe it is quite a bit less than $800. Anybody have any info on this?

I do not think I have spent $899 for all the saw horses I have ever owned in my life time. The thing better fold itself up and walk out to my truck for that much money.

You and Michael Sendrowicz are overlooking the value of your time in your calculations.

This thing is comparable to a saw horse like a bicycle is comparable to a pick-up truck.

If you bill at $60.00 per hour, Walko pays for itself when it saves you fifteen hours of work. All the time saving after that is Walko paying you.

It sure wouldn't take long to save fifteen hours, not to mention the saftey and overall professionlism added.

    Thanks for the link,

    Kowboy,

Don't get me wrong... I *WANT* one... I just can't *AFFORD* one...

I especially like the idea of being able to lean sheet good against a wall, and have a panel saw on site. Sometimes you just don't have much room to work with.

I'd love to have one.. but there is also that Festool domino joiner.... and that new vac... and...

If it makes you faster on a T&M job, it will work against you in recouping your $899.

It seems like a bulky contraption that was made to look impressive for a commercial, similar to a universal ladder….great commercials, but a functional nuisance.
