    Default Best siding cutting table?

My first siding table was a Tapco dial-an-angle, which was okay... and I'm on my second, a Tapco EZ-Angle, which was discontinued back in '03. I like it okay, but I'm wondering if there's a better cutting table out there just waiting for me to buy it.

I only cut a few materials on it, mostly aluminum soffit, fiber cement siding, and vinyl siding and siding accessories.

    Opinions, anyone?

We used to have a Tapco cutting table and after years of use it needed to be replaced we bought a Van Mark Trim a table. I like the Van Mark a lot better. The rail for the saw has a recessed groove for the blade to ride in so the whole thing will last a long time if you take care of it. We were also looking at there new table that will cut some of the double rows of vinyl shakes for the gable ends. It is basically the same table with a longer saw rail

I like my Van mark tat50, (the red one), never used a tapco but looked at one and I like how the table extends on the van mark better. Dont know if tapco has adjustable stops to go from 90 deg to your gable angle but the van mark does and it's slick.

I can't help you with anything new on the market, but when I started out in Construction we always used a "saw buck". They were great, very easy to move from job to job. I don't know why they don't make them anymore. You can still find them used every now and then.

i also started with the saw buck and it was a good saw until the rails rusted i think they started making them with better stainless.now i have the van mark
its ok but the fence rails bend easy and its hard to slide sometimes not to accurate but it gets the job done.
my next one is goin to be the new tapco with the snap stand

Go to sidetracksawtable.com This guy has it figured out. It uses DeWalt Rechargeable saws and there is a video proving its power. I was definately impressed. The site is new as the guy just invented it. It locks in at each pitch and cuts basically everything. Email them at tomkoresh@sidetracksawtable.com and they will send you flyers and order forms and stuff. The table is only 600 dollars too
