Default Need some nice-looking fluoro strips

I'm installing wiring in a home office for an artist/art collector. It's an garage attic conversion so the ceiling is vaulted. We're going to light one large section, about 16' X 24' with 2 levels of lighting: fluoro strip on the flattened peak ( about 11' up) for some general lighting, and LV track to illuminate specific artwork on the walls.

I'm trying to find some strip lighting that has some sort of nicely finished look. Gotta get away from a commerical wrap-around-style lens. I'll be putting in a continuous run about 24' long, electronic, T8's or even T5's if the fixture is right.

My suppliers are being stupid. They're not responding and I have to get this going......I'm halfway through my rough-in.

Juno has a line called "Danalite" but it all seems to be designed for up-lighting, cabinet lighting, cove-lighting, etc where it's side-mounted and such. I can't find anything that will mount to the ceiling and shine down.

    Any leads ?

    Thanks..............Ed

    Perhaps Finelite?: http://www.finelite.com/

Thanks SP. Something in that site might work.......I'm going to go through it tomorrow morning (too late now to want to be working).

I finally heard back from a supplier about those Juno Danalite strips. My cost, $288 for a single-tube 4' strip with remote ballast. Ouch!

    Beautiful - and expensive:

Also beautiful - and equally expensive:

Attractive - and not quite as expensive. Controls glare too:

Art-gallery cool - and (you guessed it) expensive:

    Industrial chic on a budget:

Thanks very much for the suggestions. Unfortunately, as you mention, all the nice-looking stuff is way pricy. So we changed the plan and ended up using some single-unit decorative residential grade fixtures, each one wired individually, in a row with the ends 8" apart. The 4-ft 2-lamp fixtures cost me about $135 ea., a lot less than the architectural striplight prices I was seeing ($250 and up, my cost).
