Old gyp-crete
Redoing bath in condo. Floor has 4x4 tile set on gyp-crete with thinset. 4x4's pop off fairly easy, what would be a good product to put over the gyp-crete to prevent the existing minor cracks for telegraphing to the new 12 x 12's
ThanksSteveC

Re: Old gyp-crete
Nothing. Remove the old gyp-crete and replace with a made-for-tile SLC made by one of the tile adhesive and mortar companies, or use Maxxon and cover with a surface-applied membrane. I recommend using a single source for all the tile installation materials in this sandwich.
