    Default Dri Core panels

Im putting Dri Core panels into a basement finish bid, did not turn up any search results. Anyone have any experience with these? Interested in efficiency of installation (accurate T&G?), problems such as cupping, and the like.
Looks like a good idea, overall I believe it will be comparable to 4x8 over sleepers in cost to HO.

I used them on a 1200 s.f. basement 2 years ago. Last year that basement got got one foot of water in it from a very large rain and the Dri Core panels held up fine. Installation was simple, t&g lined up well. Hopefully your floor is level and crack free, if not you might have to use the plastic shims that they make. Overall seemed like a good product.

We installed them in my basement while finishing the downstairs for my in-laws. I think I bought 1600 sq ft of the panels. They are extremely tightly milled, so much so that one time we realized that we had a problem as we moved into an area with closets, and we had a hell of a time when we tried to pull some of the panels apart. Once they are together it is amazing how tight the floor is.

Except for the two bathrooms which are tiled, the rest of the basement has the panels with a floating laminate floor on it. My in-laws love it, the floor has a little give to it and isn't cold. The laminate flooring feels like it is over a wood framed subfloor.

The best advice I can give you is to spend the time getting the first few courses perfectly straight and shimmed off the wall. The rest of it will go quite smoothly from there.

I would have 620 sq ft actual floor, est 10% waste and gave 6 minutes per panel in the bid for layout and install, gave me 17 man hours for the floor. Sound reasonable or too time heavy?

Basically a rectangle install with cutouts around base of stairs and one corner inset.
