Default Temp power pole Tennessee style

I took this picture on vacation in the Smoky Mountains. Now I know where the smoke comes from.

I like the coffee cup idea. I suppose if it is siliconed to the top of the enclosure it's water tight and acceptable down there. Anything to save a buck I guess. But, you know what's going to happen - whoever is serving the best coffee in the cheapest cup is going to win out and that's when the quality of our industry goes down the drain !!!

I think that the tape should protect the receptacle and I think that only a genius could have come up with a better hub to protect the top of the can. The riser is clearly secured to the tree and the grounding electrode choke should insure that the voltage leads the current in the event of a lightning strike.

This is a one of a kind and I think that it deserves the credit that it is due.

    Greg,

Your annotations tell me you would be a smash at stand up comedy! Good job. Got a good chuckle out of it.
