  1. Re: Prepare for cooler weather that is coming.

I moved here in '97, so I missed that one. The area has grown quite a bit since then, so I think we might have 3 plows now. It's pretty comical when it snows here. Everyone goes nuts buying out...
  2. Re: Prepare for cooler weather that is coming.

With all of the people driving hybrids and electric cars, the earth is finally cooling down! ;-)

On a more serious note, I live in South Carolina and we have a slight chance of flurries later...

Re: Obviously Festool wasn't his only Habit

Yeah, I meant to say something about that in the original post. Might be some used Festool going up for sale on CL to pay legal fees.

Re: Cutting small parts safely - my solution

Similar to Lavrans, but I use a LN Carcase saw and a bench hook - fast, clean and safe ( and quiet)

Reminds me of an old saying - If you meet an A hole in the morning, then you just met an A hole. If you meet A holes all day then you are the A hole.

26754Here's a picture of the bench almost 100% done ( finally!). I still need to add the crochet to the left of the leg vise and I may add a wagon vise to the right side at some point.

Re: Bathroom remodel and vanity cabinet

Thanks KG. I think the main thing I underestimated was the amount of time it took to do that many small drawers. I based my time estimate more on the size of the cabinet instead of the complexity.

Re: Cool flooring for just pennies.

Cool idea, but I'd be afraid methheads would break in and steal my floor.

Also, I just noticed in the picture in BOC's post the scrabble tiles on the wall - never seen that before.
