  • Hey lawyers... what's TTEE?

Property record for an upcoming project shows the owner as Joe Smith TTEE. I assume this means that Joe is a trustee and a trust owns the house. What is the correct way of referring to the owner in the contract?

Did one previously where the owner was Smith Family Revocable Trust, and my attorney indicated the trust would be the Owner, and the trustees would sign "Joe Smith, individually and in his capacity as trustee".... something like that.

Whatever you guys say I'll ask the attorney anyway... just looking for a leg up.

    Abbreviation for Trustee.
