I am planning on purchasing drywall stilts and would be interested in reccomendations. I have looked at Warner and Dura stilt.
I like the dura stilts, I have been walking stilts for over 20 years. I have the 24-40s.

Thanks for the response. Ther seems to be a brand by wagner that a local guy is selling. Any thoughts on that? He says that is the same as the dura stilt.

I have set of 24-40 dura stilts I will sell, I only ever wore them once across the living room.

my stilt rules:
1. Don't be tempted to get long stilts (unless you've first got the shortest pair).
2. don't waste your money on *peg* stilts (no spring loaded foot joint).
3. Don't walk on a 2x12, 12' above the ground when your brother is flinging mud at you. Have you ever had a mud blob hit you in the ear? - the best sound reducer I've ever experienced. The ensuing mud war resulted in a slippery plank.

One other thing to think of. If your even a bit bow legged, don't get the double ones with the brace on the inside too. They're adjustable, but not that adjustable. You won't be on them long before they'll be cutting into your legs and you'll be back on the plank and out a couple hundred bucks.
