A client has 3/4 t/g plywood flooring on top of trusses. Below that is an open room. He wants to screw sheets of drywall to the underside of the flooring between the tresses to help add weight to the floor before he has that room under neath it soundproofed. Have you ever heard of such a thing. If you have, would you caulk between the space of the drywall and the trusses with soundproofing caulk or caulking it to the underside of the floor. thanks
